About the Artist
Welcome to Kimberly Rosemarie Makeup Artistry. Kim is a qualified Makeup Artist who wants to be known for the versatile looks she can achieve. She wishes to pursue a career in the Film and TV industry to further expand her techniques with special effects and beauty makeup, but as of right now she is the In-House Makeup Artist exclusively at AMP Salon located in Downtown Burlington. Having now graduated from the Makeup for Media and Creative Arts program at Sheridan College in 2019, she has been educated in executing highly skilled applications of many sorts. From the program, she has been able to network herself and collaborate with many other photographers, artists and models to accomplish various photoshoots. She has assisted in creating glamour to avant garde type makeup looks for multiple freelance photographers, and has given various clients evening looks during prom/graduation season. She also enjoys creating SFX makeups showcasing blood or gore to expand her abilities within the Film and TV industry. Kim wishes to continue enjoying this journey to network herself further amongst other incredible artists within the beauty industry. She has always wished to help people feel confident with themselves inside and out, so makeup being her chosen profession is beyond well suited. Below is a basic list of the makeup services I can execute best and to your preference. I am very open and versatile when it comes to creating makeup looks and I always look forward to the process that comes along with that. Whether you are looking for a single session or you’re thinking of a bigger project, you can expect professionalism and care. These services are definitely limited, so please feel free to ask about other makeup related services, or general questions, via email or Instagram!
Simple/Day Makeup
$60
This service is all about the GLOW, and is nice option for when you are not used to wearing makeup on a regular basis or you want a softer appearance to your makeup look. Having a dewy appearance is important here, highlighting your features with blush and keeping it light makes for a fresh and flawless application. This is also well suited for younger girls during a special occasion.
Beauty/Night Makeup
$80
More specified for events or going out in the city, this type of look concentrates greatly on enhancing the eyes. Highlighting and contouring to further enhance the features of your face is focused more in this service as well. This is an example of a nude glitter half cut crease applied in a specific way to draw more attention to the eyes, my model was wearing eyelash extensions in this photo. This is the service for you if you wish of having a smoky, halo or classic eyeshadow application (or even something totally creative and new). Eyelash application is included in this service.
SFX Makeup
Starting at $40
Want to stimulate a bloody accident or disease? This type of makeup is most popular around Halloween, but can fit into your special events or films perfectly. Showcased is an example of a minor accident, but as my client I am happy to give you control in the vision for a makeup that could get very elaborate. I have experience with silicone, liquid latex, gelatin and scar wax, so the options can go far. This type of service also includes tattooing with alcohol paints or theatrical makeup. More detailed or complex looks will increase the price of this service.

Makeup and Hairstyling
Starting at $120
This service is perfect for those graduating the 8th Grade, High School or College/University. A beautiful makeup application paired with a simple undo, or half up half down style, makes for a delightful and stress free night. This option is also great for those attending a special event, day or night. Hairstyling can vary based upon client requests, the preferred style will be discussed beforehand. I am proud to say that hairstyling has followed me with my passion in makeup. Receiving awards for the both in high school, and having great marks in my college career will only help me more with satisfying your wishes in this service. Eyelashes included.
A Travelling Fee may be included depending on location.

Puffy bags under your eyes? Read this!

Makeup settling into your fine lines?
Now this one changed the game for me. When I really got into makeup, I didn't know how big of a step I was missing in my makeup routine. I used to use a powder foundation, some blush, that's it. When I was learning about all the different products, I came across setting powder. I had no idea that for years I was letting my makeup melt away from never setting it in place! I was introduced to the Laura Mercier Loose Translucent Setting Powder and never turned back. This product has proven its status, and I always recommend it now. I've now switched form liquid to cream stick foundations, so this step is very important. After applying all my wet products (foundation, concealer, liquid blush and bronzer), I will use a powder puff to set it all in when it's blended. From there, I will use the rest of my powders to further enhance. I highly recommend this product and stand by it. I hope it becomes one if your staples as it is one of mine!
